General
The TE2000 Headset Test Software provides a
user friendly high speed control interface for the TE2000 Test system.
Test Software Controls
- Six position scroll window displaying the test parameters
for 5 different types of headsets and 1 Generic position for testing any style Headset.
- Three Line Status Windows displays:
I. Selected Headset type
II. Measurement action to take during test
III. Action to take to continue test
- Test sound slide switch provides easy access to all test
sounds and easy test incrementing
- [Stop] button stops current test
- [Voice Test] button provides a human voice for headset sound
quality evaluation
- [Music Test] button provides music for headset sound quality
evaluation.
- [Setup Help] button brings up a setup instruction window.
- [Calibrate] button provides a 1KHz tone and brings up a
volume control window for quick easy system calibration.
- HEADSET / SPEAKERS Icon pictorially represents the switch
position that the Computer Interface Box should be in to perform the test.
Test Process
The Picture above shows the Ref Xmit test step
in testing the SP05 Headset. The Status Window (2) shows that the Headset under test is a
SP-05 the DMM reading should be -10 +/-2 dBm and the technician needs to Press White Xmit
to continue. The Headset Icon shows that the Computer interface Box HEADSET / SPEAKER
switch should be set to HEADSET.
The test process is easy to learn and quick to execute:
