TE-2000 Headset Tester for audio testing headsets and handsets using computer generated test sounds.

Electrical

1. Selectable 10, 20, 50, 100, 140 mA current
2. Rear panel calibration jack for easy 5 step calibration.
3. Rear panel oscilloscope jack for visual indication, and detailed testing.
4. Polarity reversal switch.
5. Reset switch for setting the unit to a known starting point. Useful to follow complex test procedures.
6. Built in 1KHz sine wave oscillator for troubleshooting to the subassembly.

Test Software Controls

1. Six position scroll window displaying the test parameters for 5 different types of headsets and 1 Generic position for testing any style Headset.
2. Three Line Status Windows displays:
   I. Selected Headset type
   II. Measurement action to take during test
   III. Action to take to continue test
3. Test sound slide switch provides easy access to all test sounds and easy test incrementing
4. [Stop] button stops current test
5. [Voice Test] button provides a human voice for headset sound quality evaluation
6. [Music Test] button provides music for headset sound quality evaluation.
7. [Setup Help] button brings up a setup instruction window.
8. [Calibrate] button provides a 1KHz tone and brings up a volume control window for quick easy system calibration.
9. HEADSET / SPEAKERS Icon pictorially represents the switch position that the Computer Interface Box should be in to perform the test.

Note: Generic Headset Test Mode provides a means of testing any type of headset. Pass/Fail Test parameters must be specified by the user.
