| TE2100 RF Shielded Fixture Simple Low cost RF isolated Bed of Nails clamshell style circuit board test fixture. Provides isolation of -60dB @ 4GHz. This shield option may be added to any of our TE1X00 and TE2X00 series clamshell style fixtures and fixture kits. The shield is fabricated from industrial strength 1/16" aluminum and lined with RF absorbent foam then mounted onto the press plate with 4 standoffs for easy removal. The fixture is also lined with RF absorbent foam. Two tabs near the hinging mechanism which guide the sides of the RF shield to slice tightly along the sides of the fixture create a tight RF shield which provides superior RF isolation performance of -60dB @ 4GHz. For greater performance of -90dB @4 GHz, our standard off the shelf unshielded fixture can be placed in one of the recommended Ramsey Electronics enclosures shown below on this page. Double shielding should mathematically provide -150dB @ 4GHz. we were only able to verify -120dB @ 4GHz due to limitations in the equipment available at our local testing laboratory. |

| TE2100 Shield Removed The RF shield is held in place by 4 standoffs and can be quickly removed with only 4 screws. This provides an easy way to inspect and make adjustments if necessary. In the unit pictured here, access holes were added to the shield to adjust the press downs. This is only done for lower frequency applications because the holes would sacrifice RF isolation performance in higher frequency fixtures. |
