Materials commonly used to fabricate props include:
Fiberglass composites, silicone rubber and butle rubber elastomer
composites, aluminum 5052, 6061 sheet and cast tooling plate (Anodized and stained in
house for a large variety of colors), 303 and 304 stainless steel, delrin, nylon (died in
house for a large variety of colors) , ABS Plastic, and clear polycarbonate plastics.
In-House Resources:
Full CNC machine shop, sheet metal shop, paint shop, electronics lab,
and explosive pyrotechnics lab.
Engineering Capabilities:
CAD/CAM design with 3D image to vector conversion for fast efficient mold machining.
Complete system design and fabrication. Electrical design, printed circuit board design
and fabrication, mechanical design and fabrication.

Images of props fabricated for Universal Studios have been removed promptly as requested on April 21st 1999. All Customers props will be treated confidentially as proprietary information and will not be displayed publicly without the written consent of the customer. Test Electronics has written consent for every prop image displayed on this site.
