TE-7000 Flex Board Test Fixture
The TE-7000 lever action bed of nails style test fixture is designed specifically for testing flex style circuit boards. The fixture is a simple 3 plate design. There is a top plate, a middle plate and a bed of nails plate hidden underneath. The flex board is placed inside the fixture on top of the middle plate. The top cover is lowered to sandwich the flex board between the top plate and mid plate. When the handle is pulled, a  cam actuated mechanism pulls the top plate and mid plate down. This compresses the flex board under test against the test pins on the bed of nails plate..

This view shows the fixture with the cover closed and the flex board inside ready for testing. Next, the test technician will simply pull the silver colored handle forward. This pulls the cam backwards which simultaneously locks the cover in place and engages the test pins.

The fixture is available in a variety of sizes. The test plate sizes range from as large as 14"x 8" to as small as 5" x 3".
