TE2100 PC Board Test Fixture
Simple Low cost Bed of Nails Clamshell style Circuit board test fixture. Drill it yourself, or let Test Electronics precision drill and customize the TE2100 bed of nails style test fixture for your circuit board. Next, add a desktop or rack mount computer, plug in low cost off the shelf data acquisition boards and create a complete full performance cost efficient functional, in-circuit, or bare board tester.

Back View Panels
Shows our removable rear panel inlay. The removable front and rear panels fold in and pull through the top with the removable bed of nails plate making all the internal electronics removable from the fixture for easy upgrades. The panels are .063" aluminum for easy of drilling and cutting to your customized needs. Pictured here is a single six module wide rear panel. Optional prepunched panels are available in 1,2, and 3 modules widths.

Bottom View
This view shows the easy to remove bottom access panel. Simply remove two screws to get full access to the internal wiring portion of the fixture. Makes upgrades on the assembly line quick and easy with minimal down time.

Top Bed of Nails View
The Bed of Nails plate lifts out of  the fixture with 4 screws. The front and rear panels also fold in and pull out through the top opening so that all wiring stays in tact. With the Bed of Nails plate removed, updates can be machined easily.

Not sure if you can build a fixture kit?
With the TE2100-EZ build kit, all you need is a drill press, a few basic hand tools and only two days. Download the EZ Fixture Kit Instruction Manual Picture Book. The Instruction Manual was written as a highly illustrated picture book to allow even non-English speaking users to follow the process and build a precision fixture. Using the methods in this manual it is possible to build a fixture to accuracies comparable to a CNC milling machine using only a drill press and a few basic hand tools! Basically the technique is to use a blank board as a drill template. Since the blank board was drilled with a precision CNC drill, the results of using a drill press with the blank board as a template will approach the accuracies of a CNC machine. The resulting fixture will have enough accuracy to probe small 30mil diameter targets spaced as close as 50mil. Download this 31 page instruction manual and see for yourself.
